How to measure flour

Instead of scooping into the flour bag or container with your measuring cup, spoon the flour you need into the the cup. Why? Scooping can compact the flour causing you to get more than you need, while spooning (without tamping it down too much) will help you measure out just the right amount. Then don’t forget to scrape off the top!
