Teach your little ones the importance of charitable giving by creating a jar to collect money for charity.

Simply take an old mason jar (or an old shoebox) and carefully cut a coin slot into the lid. Then, pick out a charity the whole family agrees on and start saving. To make a game out of it, make it a rule that any time someone finds loose change on the street or under the couch cushions, it automatically goes in the charity box. When the jar is full, count the money together and make your donation.
