Do You Give Valentine’s Day Gifts? How Much Do You Spend?
Coming almost directly on the heels of paying off that holiday debt, Valentine’s Day has started to feel like a mini-Christmas. When I worked in an educational toy store during school, I was surprised by how many people bought rather pricey Valentine’s Day gifts for their kids. I can only imagine what they were spending on their significant others.
So, if you do buy Valentine’s Day gifts for your family and friends, tell me how much you spend.
And if you are looking for gift ideas, we have plenty of them for him, for her, and for kids, plus 11 quotes on love to write in the card.

Valentine’s Day was always big at my house. Mom always bought us candy in heart shaped boxes with a few small other items. It always made us feel special and so grown up. I tend to like the tradition.. I’m an old school romantic. This year I have my eye on the his and hers initial charm pendants from Brilliant Earth http://www.brilliantearth.com/news/valentines-day-gifts/ I never purchase jewelry for myself but still love getting it for gifts!!
Here in Germany many people view Valentine’s Day as a mere opportunity for the flower, lingerie and sweets industry to enhance their sales. Maybe some young folks who are newly in love get some fun out of it, but the rest of us mostly ignores it. :-)
