This year, we’re tackling the organizational trouble spots in your home room-by-room each month. We’ve enlisted the help of our favorite organizing guru Chip Cordelli, and in each issue we’ll help you clean up those messes and install smarter systems to make sure you stay organized.

As part of our challenge, we want to see how you’ve put Chip’s organizing tips in to practice, and how you’ve solved your own clutter conundrums. So today, we’re launching the first month of our year-long Organizing Challenge contest on Instagram.

Each month, we’ll ask you to share your photos of your organized spaces on Instagram using the hashtag #RSOrganizing. At the end of the month we’ll showcase a some of our favorite Instagram photos here on Simply Stated, and pick a winner to receive Real Simple organizing products.

For January, we’re tackling the kitchen. show us your photo of how you’ve organized one of the following areas:
