If you’re dealing with cold temperatures and dry indoor heat like we are in New York City, then you’re probably also dealing with parched skin. Thankfully, it’s fairly easy to restore a dewy glow to your face: All you need to do is slightly adjust your skin-care routine.
Cleanse your face just once a day―at night, to remove dirt, impurities, and makeup―and simply rinse it in the morning. Second, shelve products containing alcohol, such as facial toners and astringents. (They tend to dry out the skin.) And finally, limit exfoliation to just once a week. You can use all your other face products as you normally would.
