If you’ve played host or hostess this holiday season, you’ve likely been gifted a few bottles of wine. (Count me jealous!) For those that you didn’t consume at your parties or dinners, make sure you’re storing them on their side instead of standing up. Why? Because keeping the cork wet means it will stay expanded and prevent any gaps at the bottle’s mouth and will keep your wine from souring.
