Yesterday, I got a door tag notifying me that I had a package. The baffling/frustrating thing about this door tag is that it was a) the first one I’d received and b) was marked “first, second, and final delivery.” After trying to figure out what was happening with my parcel online (to no avail), I ended up on the phone (disconnected twice) to speak with a customer service agent and arrange for them to hold my package until I can pick it up.

Why am I telling you this story? Only to show you how much I wish I had this new product, the DoorBot on my door. The DoorBot is a super fancy wifi doorbell that gives you a video feed and voice connection with your front door and your smartphone. It’s genius.
