10 Minutes Before Guests Arrive—Do This
In the last few minutes before party or dinner guests start arriving, the best thing to do is quickly touch up the bathroom. It’s one of the rooms that likely everyone will see, and it is very apparent if it’s not clean. Here’s the 10-minute cleaning plan for your bathroom:
1. Wipe out the sink.
2. Wipe down the mirror and the faucet.
3. Swab the toilet brush around the bowl.
4. Wipe the toilet seat and outer rim.
5. Run a dry mop over the floor to pick up any hair.
I’d add one more thing to this list—light a candle in the bathroom. It’s an extra touch that makes a big difference.
What’s the last thing you do before guests arrive?

I agree with these, especially lighting a candle. It does make a big difference. Love this. xoxo
that was really great blog….i like it very much….http//:bvira.com
Absolutely.. You should also do a quick bathroom check every hour or two to tidy up. A clorox or lysol wipe is great for quickly getting the surface areas and faucet. It also leaves a clean scent behind. Candle suggestion is MAJOR…everyone should do that perhaps scented in Lavender or Vanilla .. great for bathrooms
Flameless candle is better – unattended candles are not a good idea.
I burn some simmering granules from Maple Aromatics, and if I am in a real rush then I just leave some of the granules in a bowl. Essential oil heaven! You can find them at http://www.facebook.com/MapleAromatics and they ship worldwide. Happy holidays!
