How cute is this idea for a homemade Christmas card from the blog Meet the Dubiens? It’s a great easy way to let your kids help make the Christmas cards (or gift tags, if you’ve already sent your cards out).

Draw the “string” first and then let your little ones add the lights. I’d recommend using a watercolor palette. Add a drop or two of water to each color—just enough to make it a bit sticky, and use that for the thumbprints. The best thing about watercolors is that they are incredibly easy to wash off (both finger and clothing.)
