Have You Tried It? Target’s Electronics Trade-in Program
So what happens when you decide it’s time to upgrade to a new gadget—moving from the original iPad to a newer version, or switching systems and going to an Android tablet? What do you do with the device that you’re replacing? You could sell it on eBay or Craigslist, gift it to a family member, or reach out to your network via Facebook and Twitter to see if anyone wants to buy it, or now you can trade it in at Target.
There are options for trading in both in-store and online, and you can get credit for anything from your smart phone to your laptop to your child’s graphing calculator. I haven’t tried the service to see what kind of trade-in pricing they offer, but I’ll be sure to the next time I’m looking to upgrade one of my gadgets.
