Another Way to Support Sandy Victims
Instagram was one of the most widely used social media properties during Hurricane Sandy, both by professional and amateur photographers alike. I was stuck on the West coast during the storm, and Instagram was one of the ways that I stayed up-to-date on what was going on with my friends and in my neighborhood.
Now you have the opportunity to buy some of the stunning photos taken by photographers during the storm through the #Sandy Relief Show. Each photo will be printed 10 x 10, costs $50, and will support Occupy Sandy and the Rockaway Volunteer Relief Center.
The sale is live through Wednesday, November 21st at 9 p.m. EST. Here are some of my favorite pieces available for purchase:

We’re also helping Sandy victims through Donor’s Choose. We’re donating $1 for every Facebook share, Facebook like, and Tweet (up to $1,000) on the posts tagged charity from November 15th on. The donations will go to Donor’s Choose projects that have been started to help classrooms affected by the storm.
You can find out more about Donor’s Choose here, and we’ll let you know when we’ve reached our $1,000 goal. So, start sharing and help us get these classes back in session.
