Your legs may get a workout walking around the mall on Black Friday, but it’s unlikely that your wallet will.

A recent survey by CouponCabin found that almost half of Cyber Monday shoppers plan to spend more money buying gifts online on November 26 than they will in-store the entire holiday season. Those online shoppers plan to drop a chunk of change, too: 54 percent plan to spend between $101 and $500 on Cyber Monday.

Taking advantage of Cyber Monday sales can be a great way to maximize your holiday budget. Scope out potential gifts now and sign up for your favorite stores’ newsletters and subscribe to their Twitter or Facebook feeds. That way, you’ll be in-the-know and ready to shop the deals come Monday.

Or, if you prefer to hit up the mall, here’s how to get all your shopping done in one day.

After being a loyal online shopper for years, I take finding the best deals pretty serious! Using coupon sites as described above are a great way to save money and take advantage of online sales. It isn’t just on cyber Monday either that you can find great deals. Some of the best offers are some that run over holiday weekends or some that a company will post randomly to boost sales.

When looking at deals I tend to search smaller niche sites like . They have the same deals as larger sites, just less and are typically more easy to navigate. I still find myself going to some of the larger site occasionally but for me shopping at some of these smaller sites is like supporting locally owned businesses which I try to do in my home town.
