Your legs may get a workout walking around the mall on Black Friday, but it’s unlikely that your wallet will.
A recent survey by CouponCabin found that almost half of Cyber Monday shoppers plan to spend more money buying gifts online on November 26 than they will in-store the entire holiday season. Those online shoppers plan to drop a chunk of change, too: 54 percent plan to spend between $101 and $500 on Cyber Monday.
Taking advantage of Cyber Monday sales can be a great way to maximize your holiday budget. Scope out potential gifts now and sign up for your favorite stores’ newsletters and subscribe to their Twitter or Facebook feeds. That way, you’ll be in-the-know and ready to shop the deals come Monday.
Or, if you prefer to hit up the mall, here’s how to get all your shopping done in one day.
