If you’re following our Holiday Card Checklist (which I’m going to do my best to do), you need to gather addresses this week.

I think this is my least favorite part of sending holiday cards, especially since a lot of my friends move around a lot. So this year, I’m trying out Postable, and online address book that puts the onus on your friends to update their own addresses.

So once you sign up for a Postable account, you’re given a URL (mine’s http://postable.com/kristinappenbrink) that you can send to friends and family. When they click it they are prompted to enter their contact information—as much or as little as they would like to share—and it is automatically added to your address book. Easy, right?
