How to Transfer Pie Crust

If you’re on pie-duty for Thanksgiving next week, this tip for transferring your pie crust from counter to pie plate will come in handy.

To avoid tearing your curst as you position it into the pie plate, start by rolling out your dough on a piece of floured wax or parchment paper. Once you have it to the correct thickness, slide your hand under the dough to separate it from the paper. Next, position the paper and dough over the pie plate and slide the dough only into place.
