Aluminum Foil

We’ve told you that can use aluminum foil to protect doorknobs when you’re painting, make holiday garlands, remove wrinkles when ironing, and as a makeshift funnel when you’re cooking. And today the smart folks over at Apartment Therapy have alerted us to another money saving use for this multi-tasker: Ball it up, and use it as a dryer sheet. Apparently it cuts down on static, and can be used for up to six months without needing replacement. Who knew?

We haven’t tried it yet, so what do you think? Would you ever use aluminum foil, or is the idea too wacky? And would you worry about it damaging your clothes? Share your thoughts below.
