Banish Crayon Drawings (on Your Walls) with Baking Soda

Red crayon on a blue painted wall

This dilemma came up for one of my friends with kids the other day. Her daughter drew all over the walls with crayon. And as much as she might have liked the abstract masterpiece, she would have preferred for it to be on paper hanging on the wall rather than on the wall itself. Luckily, there’s an easy way to get rid of those crayon marks without ruining the paint job. Simply sprinkle a little bit of baking soda on a damp sponge and scrub away the marks with a little elbow grease. Then rinse the sponge and wipe the wall clean.

Baking soda is kind of a miracle cleaner. Find out what else you can clean with baking soda (and other natural products).
