If you always seem to be misplacing your keys or your lip gloss or your cell phone (but only when it’s on silent), you be able to retrieve your lost items faster if you start talking to yourself. Now, we’re not telling you to mutter a stream of consciousness under your breath, but by saying to yourself where you place commonly misplaced items (either in your head or aloud), you’ll have a better chance of remembering where you put them.
