If you spent a bit too much time in the sun, and now have the pink cheeks and shoulders as a souvenir, use this trick to help soothe that sunburn. Mix whole milk and water in a bowl. Soak a washcloth in the milk/water mixture and apply the cloth to your burn for 10 minutes at a time. The fat in the milk acts as an anti-inflammatory.
Then as your burn heals, be sure to keep it hydrated with a light, fragrance-free lotion.
