Three Pie-Making Tricks for Pi Day!

In case you were considering making a pie this evening, here’s a little more motivation. It’s Pi Day! (A little explanation on Pi Day.) To help you celebrate, here are our favorite pie-making tips, along with several recipes.

Make transferring your pie crust easier by rolling it out on a piece of parchment or waxed paper. Then you can lift the paper up and slide the crust into the pan. See the steps of how to make a pie crust without rips and tears here.

Prevent your pie crust from over browning by using a pie crust shield. Thankfully there’s no need to run out and buy one, you can make one out of aluminum foil.
