Cast Iron Pan

If someone in your home didn’t quite follow the rules for caring for your cast iron pan, there is still a way to rescue it from rust. Use this tip from Lifehacker, remove rust and get it ready to be seasoned.

Simply soak your pan in a mix of half plain white vinegar and half water for an hour. Then use an abrasive pad to scour away any rust on the pan. Once all the rust is removed, you’ll just have to season the cast iron pan again and it will be good as new.

Have you ever damage a cast iron skillet?
