Somewhere along the way I learned never to show up empty handed. It’s a rule I stick to not because I have to, but because I think it’s nice to reciprocate your host’s hospitality.

I usually bring baked goods or a bottle of wine but, this season, my go-to gift is the  Banana Republic and Clos du Bois Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon. They have the prettiest labels (I’m a sucker for labels, but it is quite tasty) that make the bottles great gifts to bring your holiday hosts.
