As you’re preparing tomorrow’s big meal here’s some ways to keep your side dishes warm while the turkey finishes cooking (or you wait for tardy guests to arrive).
- Store your gravy in an insulated Thermos
- Keep mashed potatoes or another starchy side warm in a slow-cooker turned on to low
- Stash other casseroles in an insulated cooler (they keep things hot as well as cool!)
- Put a heating pad in a soft-sided food carrier to keep the dish warm
