Reader Question: Stackable Recycling Bins
Today we got a question on our Facebook page from reader Rebecca about how to better set up a recycling system in her kitchen. Take a look at the space she’s working with:
Like Rebecca, I have a small amount of space to use for a trash/recycling set up in my kitchen. I chose to go with a stacking bin system from Ikea that was originally designed for toys, but works perfectly from keeping my plastics, aluminum, and paper separated.
I bought the TROFAST frame and three storage bins to set next to my refrigerator.
I got the whole set up for less than $65, and it has lasted me several years and a couple of apartments.
