Face it. Hair brushes and combs can get quite grimy, especially if you use hair products that can build up on the bristles and tines.

Here’s how to keep your hair tools clean using essential oils:

  1. Fill a container with 1 1/2 cups water, 1/2 cup white vinegar, and 20 drops of either tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil, or lavender oil.
  2. Soak brushes for 20 minutes.
  3. Rinse in clear water, and air dry.
