Have you heard about the site 20×200? It’s a marketplace for art that allows people to buy original works (prints and photography) at inexpensive prices. The site lists two new pieces each week in a variety of sizes, and with increasingly smaller print runs. Most works are available in the following sizes:
8-inches by 10-inches, $20, 200 available
11-inches by 14-inches, $50, 500 available
16-inches by 20-inches, $200, 50 available
24-inches by 30-inches, $1,000, 10 available
And now, 20×200 has teamed up with West Elm, one of our favorite affordable home stores here at Real Simple, to offer a selection of prints by 20×200 artists. Plus they now have a collection of frames sized perfectly for the 20×200 prints. Plus, they have a pocket on the back of the frame to hold the certificate of authenticity from the artist.
