Lately I’ve really been getting into all the “cover” accessories popping up, meaning the products made to cover all our stuff. And, boy, do we have a lot of stuff!

From smart phones to digital camcorders and electronic tablets to just ordinary paper notebooks (love my Moleskine)—there is so much we end up carrying around. Thus, we need items to help us to protect our precious things.

With that said, I have not been able to get my friend’s iPhone and iPad cases out of my head. They are beautifully handmade leather coverings by a company called Harlex, made up of a husband-and-wife duo.

The collection is made with amazing craftsmanship and lovely little details (personalized embossing and contrast stitching) that make each piece a wonderful gift for yourself or others. The items run the gamut from shoulder bags to iPad cases to luggage tags to wallets.

Though the company is based in Hong Kong, I can tell you with certainty that the $12 shipping fee is well worth the money.
