Milk Carton to Pack Breakables

Next time you’re sending something fragile through the mail (or if you find yourself planning a move), save your empty milk cartons to use as packing material.

Wrap the fragile item (say ornaments or vintage jewelry) in a layer of bubble wrap and nestle it into the milk carton. The sturdy sides will keep it from being squashed inside the shipping box, and the square shape enables you to stack multiple milk cartons in one box easily. So it’s perfect for sending off a whole collection of goodies.
