Hi Simply Stated readers! This is my first blog post so I thought I would take a few sentences to make a formal introduction. My name is Charlyne Mattox, and I have been working in the Real Simple Food Department since the Fall of 2010. (The recipe shown above is one of the first things I worked on when I started at Real Simple. It’s a Spinach Salad with Salmon, Barley, and Oranges.)
I originally decided to work in food because I like to eat, eat, & eat—and drink wine. I will eat (or try, at least) most anything except eggs or blue cheese. Please check back in for what will hopefully be fun and interesting tidbits on all things food.
