You may or may not have heard, but I’m writing a book for Chronicle Books (to also be published in the UK by Jacqui Small) about decorating. My job was to scout and book locations, conduct interviews, write portions of the book, choose a photographer, travel to locations, style homes and build out the resource section in the book as well. No small feat for a first time author! Along with my work, there is a fabulous co-author who has written 12+ books in England for Tricia Guild, Stephanie Hoppen and Sir Terence Conran — her name is Joanna Copestick — and I’m so pleased to have her on this project because her insights have been so helpful to me. She has been suggesting lots of great things to look at on the side too, like St. Jude’s Prints.
Have you heard of them? Joanna told me about them several weeks ago as she had the honor of visiting their studio in Norfolk, England recently and raved about their beautiful prints and patterns. Their gallery carries limited edition prints, fabrics and paper goods… there are so many that I’ve fallen in love with!
