The week before last, my parents and I visited my sister on the West coast. It was nice to take a break and see my family, and it was extra special because we were celebrating my sister's graduation.
All three of us stayed at my sister's house which she shares with two other students–effectively doubling the number of people in residence. I know we all tried to be good houseguests—keeping our luggage and personal belongings out of the way, being aware of her roommate's schedules, generally picking up after ourselves. But I'm sure that by the time we left my sister's roommates (and maybe even my sister) were glad to see us go.
So I want to know, whether you're hosting houseguests or staying with friends this summer, what are your biggest pet peeves in that situation? I want to make sure I'm not guilty of any of them. Sound off in the comments below.
