Color Inspiration

Do you love color? Do you love to craft? Are you obsessed with pattern? Well then I hope you don't mind, but I have to blow a very large horn today (no, not a vuvuzela!). I'm blowing the horn of fellow blogger and friend Leslie Shewring from A Creative Mint. Leslie is a blog author, photographer and all around creative lady who lives in the Los Angeles area. Here is a sampling of her photographs that you can find on her beautiful blog space.

Leslie is a devoted wife and mother with small children who somehow finds time for her creative projects and her other passion: travel. In the past year, Leslie has been to Sweden, England, France, Denmark, Canada (where she was born) and Japan to name a few. She highlights her travel adventures on her blog, A Creative Mint, along with musings on some of her favorite local inspirations that she enjoys. Some of these musings include her trips to rose farms, visits to Japanese book stores in L.A., and her frequent shopping adventures to the flower market where she arranges her finds and photographs them for her blog as part of a color story that she likes to build every month using flowers and mostly arts and crafts supplies. Leslie loves to craft and create things including, my favorite, her ever-changing mood boards in her work room which doubles as a pool house in her sunny coastal home.

Leslie has been authoring the Color Me Pretty column on my blog, decor8, for nearly a year now and she brings delightful bursts of color and pattern to each and every color story that she pulls together — a real feast for the senses — and my readers love her. I hope that you do, too!
