Round Up: Adorable Aprons

I love aprons. They have the perfect mix of functionality and style, and there's something very 1950s about the ones with full skirts. And whenever I'm doing more than just making pasta or heating up leftovers I make sure to wear one. I don't think I'm that messy, but I prefer not to take the risk when it comes to staining my clothes.

Here are a few of my faves available right now:

Baker's Delight Apron from Anthropologie, $32

Those of you that have seen Sex and the City 2 might recognize this as the apron Charlotte was wearing while baking cupcakes with her daughters. They also make a child's version, Baker's Delight Kid's Apron for $24.

Olivia Apron from Lucy & Michael, $30

Zip & Dry Apron from Uncommon Goods, $25

This one is fantastic because the bottom is actually a terry cloth towel. I normally end up tucking a towel in the tie near my waist, but this has it built right in. Plus it zips off so you can wipe up a spill or toss it in the wash separately from the full apron.

The Lady's Half Apron, from Anthropologie, $28

Bermuda Blues Halter Apron from Heavenly Hostess, $85

This apron is so pretty and detailed that I couldn't not include it, but it's a bit on the pricey side for me. I'll be sticking to the under $35 set.

BELLA Vintage Inspired Canary Yellow Birdseed Full Apron by Boojiboo on Etsy, $28.75

I love the birds and the contrasting material on the halter, waist, and pocket.

And for those of you looking for a DIY project, try this Fourth of July BBQ Apron step-by-step over on The Purl Bee.

Do you wear an apron in the kitchen? Do you have a favorite one to share?
