We all know going green is great! You've got your reusable grocery bag, organic vegetables, free-range chicken cutlets and no-glue shoes. But what about your skin?

Well, Marie Veronique has done just that with her collection of skincare products called: Marie Veronique Organics.

The company uses scientific studies and direct research to better understand the aging process. They then turn to nature to find ingredients ("intelligent ingredients" as they like to call them) that minimize or counter those effects. The entire line is are free of toxins, petroleum based products, nanoparticles or anything else that is potentially harmful (the packaging is even made of 100% recyclable materials).

In addition, 10% of the company's profits are donated to The Acumen Fund, which is dedicated to creating better opportunities for women and children in Third World countries. 

I have been trying out the company's "vegan skincare kit." I'm personally not a vegan or even a vegetarian…however my skin now is! The products are a dream. My skin feels fresh and a lot more balanced. I'm particularly loving the moisturizing tinted face screen. It's extremely important to use a sunscreen even if you don't think it's sunny out. There are always UV rays present that can damage your skin.
