O’Brien & Schridde Frames

Yesterday on decor8 I highlighted "Coastal Chic" style that is a little shabby, a little country, and very coastal — think California and Sydney cottages washed with light, linens, lots of white and beautiful blue tones. You can see two cottages that I spotlighted here to get a sense of what I'm referring to. Below is a glimpse, this is from Maria's home in California — she authors the Dreamy Whites blog and imagine this — she has a husband and 5 children who occupy this very white, very clean space!

After writing about this style, Louise and Daniel Schridde wrote to me to share O'Brien & Schridde Designs which is a frame company founded in 2003 based in Burbank, California. Their frames fit this style perfectly with their weathered and worn finish with details that include floral patterns (their newest line is shown below) and other details like gold leafing. These new frames are artboard and available in either blue/green or pink/green. Later this month, they will introduce matte boards in pink, blue and sage in both stripes and polka dots to compliment these frames.

Sadly, I can't order these frames in Germany where I live but if I could I would have the Nostaligic round frame (medium) in gray — it's so hard to find frames like this here! If you live in the states you can order from them here.

Have a lovely Friday! I'll be back on Monday — enjoy the weekend!
