If you are a parent looking for stylish design and decorating tips that mix your style with that of your children, I’ve pulled together a list of 10 must-see design hubs that you may enjoy today. Here are my personal favorites from around the world. Enjoy!
- MILK magazine is published in France with a beautiful website, too. You can also buy the magazine from Yvestown, an English-speaking blogger who will ship a copy to you from her web shop here.
- Bloesem Kids blog is one that I follow regularly and I’m not even a parent yet. It’s loaded with stylish finds for modern parents and lots of inspirational home tours from “real” people who have kids.
- Small magazine is a digital mag for parents available seasonally online that is an absolute must-read.
- Papier Mache from Australia is another great resource packed with ideas and creative inspiration.
- LUNA is a print-based magazine in Germany that is also overflowing with beautiful decor objects, furniture and fashion for the little ones. They have a great blog too.
- lmnop is another Australian title for children that has a website for your inspiration if you don’t happen to live in the land down under. They also have issues available to download.
- Okay, I know it says a lot about a culture when they have so many popular magazines geared around the family, but Australia seems to lead in this area once again with Kid Magazine. Another inspirational joy.
- Ohdeedoh is a blog based in New York that covers global design with a focus on products and home tours.
- Coochicoos is another American blog with a focus on mostly products for kids and their parents.
- Fine Little Day is a blog in Sweden that isn’t solely about children but I thought I’d add it anyway because it seems to be a big hit with crafty creative parents because the author shares her family life quite openly and often with her readers. It’s such a beautiful resting place online!

I have fallen in love with the Finnish blog Varpunen (http://pikkuvarpunen.blogspot.com), written by a truly creative and totally stylish mom. It’s about diy projects, both the kind you do yourself and projects you can do together with your child, and she also blogs great interiors and products! She posts lots of photos from her beautiful home too. I can’t get enough of this blog!
For furniture you should really check out Stokke. They only have a few pieces but they are absolutly amazing. All the pieces are suitible for cradle-to-grave lifestyles growing with them from infant until adulthood. Beautiful modern design. Be sure to check out their bassinet that converts to a bed and then a pair of beautiful chairs, their innovative changing table that becomes a desk and eventually a storage unit, and their award winning highchair that adjusts from a newborn all the way to a full grown adult.
