Haus Interior is a lovely home store in New York City with an online shop for the rest of us and all I can say is, Helloooo…When can I move it? Dreamy! There is a bit of a nautical theme out there in design land, have you noticed? There are subtle nods all around. Stripes in blue and white come to mind amongst other things like rope knots. I love this style because it reminds me of Boston meets Hamburg, I love coastal style!
The owner of Haus Interior is RISD grad Nina Freudenberger from Munich, Germany and she also authors a design blog called The Cultivated Home which is a delightful read.
After doing some research I found that her apartment was featured awhile back on Apartment Therapy, a glimpse is shown above but for the full tour you’ll need to visit AT and they toured her shop here as well.
Doesn’t this make you want to run out and but a striped pillow or paint your wall navy blue? I personally want the rope knot door stop in natural – so practical and also very natural and would work well with all the wood and white in my home. What about you, see anything you love?

I love the pairing of crisp, graphic elements with warm wood tones in Nina’s apartment. I remember seeing this space before, thanks for featuring it!
There wasn’t one thing that I didn’t love…just lovely! Heading over to Apartment Therapy to check out the tour. Thanks Holly for the daily inspiration!

The author has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: No truth is universal, everything has its exception. Thanks for the info
