I recently pulled together an Etsy handmade last minute gift guide for decor8 and I'd like to highlight three of the sellers from my guide since I found so many items in each of their shops that I'd like to give as presents. It may be a tad too late this year, but one doesn't need a special occasion to give to those they love, right? So keep these shops in mind for when you want to surprise someone…
The first shop is White Square and is based in Perth (western Australia) and owned by a talented designer and illustrator who creates all sorts of charming wooden and acrylic lasercut brooches and necklaces.
Up next is the lovely Sarah Lucretia who is really Sarah Wedge, an artist based in Brooklyn who sells some fantastic prints with a definite fashion edge – and a great price – only $13 each! The graphics and colors are lovely.
And my third etsy pick for last minute gift shopping is the gorgeous Maramiki shop in Chicago owned by Mara Snipes, an illustrator and textile designer, who sells yardage in addition to pre-made wares like pillow cases and covers, tea towels, pincushions and more.
Have a lovely Friday and weekend — see you on Monday!

My favorite Etsy shop is one I just discovered a few days ago…(wordgarden.etsy.com) This woman makes the coolest pillows and quote cards derived from different quotes and sayings. She also has a lot of Paris-inspired items! I’m lovin’ it! My old favorite was PlaybyMarly but I think she closed up shop.
I’d love to hear other people’s favorite Etsy shops!
Love these sources and yes one never needs an excuse to shop for pressies.

Love the laser cut items! Etsy is so huge now that I really appreciate it when someone does some looking and shares their favorites. http://blog.sweetservices.com/sweetscandyblog/
Love the Miramiki textiles – great graffics, modern, clean and ooh so pretty. Thanks for sharing.
