Umbrella Prints: Textiles

October 5, 2009 | By | Comments (0)

It’s been awhile since I checked out what the girls over at Umbrella Prints have been up to, but one look at Irene’s blog this week, Bloesem, and I was reminded of what I’ve been missing. The talented Amy Prior and Carly Schwerdt, Australian fabric designers, have been hard at work creating all sorts of lovely patterns and colors resulting in some pretty nice handmade screen-printed textiles that I’d like to get my hands on. See for yourself…

I love their heart print (in gray), the fan flowers pattern (in coral) and of course, the elephants (in pink!). How lovely these would look as pillows, chair cushion covers or even roman shades or cafe curtains.
