The Inglenook Decor

The Inglenook Decor is an online shop for the home and garden but comes with a bonus, a blog and a section called “Decorating Tips and Ideas” where the shop owner gives helpful suggestions on sprucing up your nest. Take for example her tip on the importance of color, “Coco Chanel once said, “An interior is the natural projection of the soul.” If this is the case then you should seriously give a lot of thought in choosing the colors in your home. Even if you’re not an artist, treat your walls as your canvas and the anchor as to how all of your home décor accessories and functional items would play.” She then continues to give some great suggestions. You can read the those here.

The Inglenook Decor specializes mainly in 4 decorating styles: Vintage Modern, French Chateau, Rococo and Shabby Country. Here are a few products that caught my eye:

Ingle

De Lyon wall clock, owl bookstand, the centerpiece wire basket (which I’d spray paint white and use in the craft room for supplies), bamboo pillow, green beaker vase (also available in pink) and Linneas candles (in many scents).

Enjoy!

Psst: Hopefully some of you have today off and you are tuning in from the comforts of home. If so, I wish you a lovely day to yourself and would like to thank you for visiting me here at Simply Stated!
