One thing I love about being a writer — the lovely submissions that talented designers send to me! Sometimes I feel like I'm not even working on days when many great products flow into my inbox. Like today, for instance. I heard from Korinne at Olio United in Portland, OR and was completely smitten the moment I viewed her online shop and blog. Care to take a peek with me?

Olun

Olio United carries ethically produced objects for the home along with art and beautiful clothing. Korinne once had a storefront in Portland that she had to recently close due to the economy but she's not giving up on her passion.  She's determined to still focus on collaborative projects with designers and to represent small artists and makers with an interesting story, only this time — online.

Korinne has several projects in store but on September 1st she's hosting an online truck show with 6 designers so you may want to bookmark Olio United and check them out on that date. Of course, you don't have to wait — you can visit her store now too as it's filled with beautiful, special things.

Enjoy!
