Have you ever been inspired by something that was so unrelated to interior design that you wondered how it was able to inspire your design decisions? I have. So has Heather Ross. If you read her blog you'll already know where I'm going with this because she recently married in Vermont and the inspiration for her theme was a favorite childhood book, "Frog Went A-Courtin". Drawing inspiration from both the story and illustrations she decided to bring it to life on her special day and she did a lovely job. Here's a glimpse below, but for the complete story and lots of photos please visit Heather Ross online.

With a little imagination, one can take inspiration from anywhere — books, museums, a single piece of fabric, a toy store — and transform found ideas into magical things from weddings to fashion, even a beautiful room. Think of some things that inspire you and them imagine some ways you could translate those into a room in your home or a party that you're about to host. Who knows what you will come up with!
