I’m a fan of the Elle Decoration South Africa blog, are you a reader too? I heard from one of their editors recently, Heather Moore, who told me about this lovely free stencil of a poodle designed by artist Conrad Botes. I love the idea of free stencil downloads, don’t you? Just look at this delicious wall that you’d almost guess was wallpaper if you didn’t know any better… you can do this with stencils and paint!
Sure, it may take some time, but if you’re only doing an accent wall I think it’s a terrific DIY project and a great way to save money as designer wallpaper can be pretty expensive for those on a tight budget. Animal motifs are still all the rage, so this poodle is certainly not going to go out of style anytime soon either…

and just how do we get the shark!!! a poodle is just not right for a 9 yr old boys rm!
I adore this! It is going in my favorites for my daughter’s room for our next house! I actually did a bit of my own stenciling for my boys’ room. I made a tutorial video as well. The video was our first video so it’s not the best, but it does show how I made my “mobile.” My littlest is now nine months old and both he and my four year old love it! It was a great project because it was super budget friendly, but it is still very versatile to anyone’s taste!
