Easy Summer Gifting

With the month of June fast approaching, I’ve got gift-giving on my mind.

Both of my siblings have birthdays this month, and Father’s Day is on the 21st – which will be here before I know it. Beyond that there are showers (bridal and baby), weddings, and thank yous (for beach house hosts).

A nice way to get organized is to shop ahead for the special occasions already on your calendar, and stock-up on a dozen or so (less specific) gift items to stash away – this way you’ll have a reserve of hostess and thank you gifts at the ready when a last minute party or weekend invite pops up. Online ordering makes this a cinch.

I know I’ll be referencing our Summer Gift Guide often, and I hope you will too. It is full of beautiful, surprising gifts – half of which I must admit I’m coveting for myself (fortunately, I have a birthday this month as well…hint hint…).

For now, maybe Brother would like this Golf Club Bottle Opener from RedEnvelope for his birthday. It combines his two great loves (golf and beer). What could be better?

Golf Club Bottle Openers

It’s actually quite clever – they’ve taken salvaged golf club heads (woods and irons) and attached a classic opener. Each one is unique: no two heads are exactly the same, and they’ve got character-lending “flaws” like grass stains and scratches, which I love. Aside from being useful, it would look nice sitting on the coffee table or bar in a young bachelor’s home.

One more great thing about our Gift Guide this summer: we’ve broken things down by price, with 10 stellar gifts under $25.

Tell me: how are you planning to save money this summer gifting season?
