It’s harder than you might think to find a really inexpensive, really cute bathing suit. But luckily, all manner of beach-y accessories can come with incredibly low price tags. Plus, some swimsuits go on sale quite early in the season – including this chic one-shoulder tankini top ($31.50 at Gap) and ring-detail bottoms ($25.50 at Gap). We’ve been generally impressed with Gap’s swimsuits this season – and there are more deals to be had.
It won’t be too disappointing if some sand scratches the lenses of these plastic sunglasses ($5.80 at Forever 21), and you can score a beach bag for under $10 by re-purposing a canvas grocery tote ($6.50 at ECOBAGS). Cover up with a ¾ sleeve tunic ($35 at New York & Company) when it gets breezy – and use the money you didn’t waste on expensive shades to buy your friends lunch.
