5 Eco Decor Finds For Spring

We had such a beautiful Sunday here in New Hampshire yesterday that I'm in total Spring mode now. With warm weather here, sprucing up my home and giving it a good through cleaning is high on my list — I love to refresh my interior with each new season (do you do this too?). With that in mind, I thought I'd show you a little color and style from an eco-friendly shop online that I like called re:modern. Why not go a little greener this Spring! Have you heard of this store before? Have you shopped re:modern? They have a lovely well-edited selection of goods that range from tableware to pillows and rugs. Here are 5 of my favorite eco finds — they just might become yours, too!

1. Low Round Bamboo Bowl

bambu.
Perfect for serving a table of friends, especially during warm evenings — these bold colors are so festive!

2. These gorgeous flatweave Dhurrie 8×11 wool rugs by Thomas Paul just scream summer to me! I'd love to place one on a three season porch. Available in Flock, Coral or a pretty Swallow motif.

3. I love these Beehive Felt Bowls
by
Jaime Salm and Roger Allen
- obviously great for gardening though I'd be tempted to store small toys that the little ones like to play with outside (keep it by the front door).

4. The Flock Mobile by Bookhou Design was designed with the nursery in mind though I see it as grown up enough to add to a
patio or to decorate a modern living room  — you don't need a child to
display a mobile!

And last, but not least, the super cute Flip Flop doormat made out of, yes you've guessed it, recycle flip flops. Nothing says summer like this doormat!

Did you have good weather where you live? Did you have a nice weekend? What did you do? I went flea marketing and antiquing, and for a long nature walk, along with lots of cooking and Spring cleaning. I also fell asleep in a sea of freshly laundered sheets air dryed outside while listening to the frogs in our backyard pond sing me to sleep. Ah, Spring!

  1. San Diego was a hot 89 degrees this weekend. I think Spring is pretending it’s Summer. :) Those low round bamboo bowls are beautiful. I’m partial to the cornflower and aqua. My old set of bamboo bowls cracked in an unfortunate moving accident a year ago. So these would be great replacements. Great find!

  5. These are really fun! Especially love Bamboo Bowls and Flipflop Doormat. Last week, in honor of Earth Day, I shared some other designer’s favorite eco-friendly design faves, (including my own!):
