On Friday I talked about the new organization book from Chronicle called the Secrets of Simplicity, and I’m happy to report that I’ve not only finished reading it (and doing all of the written work inside) but I also made time to read The Alchemist, another book I’d been dying to read for a very long. It feels great to walk away from a weekend where I not only handled some work-related tasks, but also cooking, cleaning, errands and I finished two books. I also feel really excited to do a little Spring cleaning in the weeks ahead!
So, what will we talk about this morning? Well I thought I’d start our week with some beautiful illustrative work by Andrea Cobb, an artist who lives in Durham, North Carolina and was responsible for the illustrations in the Secrets of Simplicity.
Andrea has an impressive client list including Anthropologie, Chronicle Books, Target, Toyota, Ritz Carlton, The Wall Street Journal and more. She’s clearly very talented and sought after. I also just learned this morning that she offers her work as prints — all you have to do is look at her online portfolio and send her the name of the illustration that you’re interested in owning as a print. How great is that?
Have a nice Monday everyone!
