Dermalogica Concealing Spot Treatment ($32 at Dermstore) uses sulfur, zinc oxide, and salicylic acid to combat oil and bacteria. And it really blends in, so wear it under makeup during the day, and pile it on that one spot at night.

Mario Badescu’s Drying Lotion ($17 at Mario Badescu) is similar to the product above, but also contains camphor and calamine, and doesn’t quite blend into skin – it’s a miracle worker overnight, though.

You can use LATHER Advanced Blemish Control Serum ($29 at LATHER) as a spot treatment or allover acne combatant; it has tea tree oil to nix bacteria, and aloe to soothe.
